Domestic enquiries is a process whereby the employee is given a fair opportunity of putting his or her statements, before a decisions is made against an employee, if charges of misconduct.
The domestic enquiry is held in conformity with the principles of natural justice and under the Employment Act, an employer is required to conduct a domestic inquiry prior to the taking of disciplinary action against an employee of misconduct.

Incompetency/Inefficiency of Employee
Incompetency is also known as incapability or inefficiency which denotes or suggest some shortfall or shortcoming in
the employee in discharging his job functions. E.g. unsatisfactory or poor performances of duties or tasks assigned or allocated to employee.
In summary, inefficiency, incompetence or ineptitude gives a basis for an employer to dismiss an employee.
